Across three distinct volumes, students will will learn everything there is to know about sketching a car in 2D.
Topics include; shading techniques and how to add texture and effect, how to communicate material such as gloss and matte, how to add light to objects to create a desired atmosphere.
Known for his landmark work for BMW, Fiat, MINI, Ferrari and McLaren, Frank Stephenson is responsible for several of the most iconic car designs of recent times including the MINI Cooper, McLaren P1, MP4-12C, Ferrari F430 and the Maserati MC12. Stephenson famously quipped that he’s “never bored” and finds design inspiration everywhere he looks.
Frank now leads the creative direction at his own design studio, Frank Stephenson Design, which was founded in 2018. Frank is excited to shape the future of mobility by leading the design of pioneering new industries such as eVTOL aircraft and near-space tourism whilst positively impacting society by designing cross industry products such as child safety seats, innovative beauty products and watches.
